14 Days 13 nights East African Adventure Safari

Overview
Choosing which time of year to see the Great Wildebeest Migration is made easy with this safari. Moving between Tanzania’s Serengeti and Kenya’s Masai Mara, this 14-day itinerary ensures that you will be in front-row seats for nature’s biggest show and some of its most dramatic chapters, depending on which time of year you choose to visit, such as the birthing season, the great trek, and the treacherous river crossings, complete with giant crocodiles.

This is a Double Trekk Gorilla & Migration itinerary backed up by some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa. When you are not watching the Migration, you will be on the lookout for the Big 5 in the Ngorongoro Crater – lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and elephant – and enjoying diverse wildlife sightings throughout the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. Predators – like all the big cats, wild dogs, cheetahs and hyenas – are well represented and the general game viewing and bird watching is excellent. This is the best experience Africa can offer, being in-front of wild mountain gorillas with astonishing eyes is another life experience.

It is a fly-in safari, saving you several long journeys by road. You are met and assisted each step of the way as you fly between destinations. Small and intimate camps – ideal for romantic travel, and that will appeal to honeymooners and couples – provide the accommodation and you enjoy morning and afternoon game drives with our expert guides. You will be ‘under canvas’ for this safari in large, and Cottages types all en-suite for Luxury, well-furnished tents/cottages with their own en suite bathrooms. Simple campfires gives these places an authentic wilderness feel but you have all the comforts of home in your tent/cottages including electric lighting as well as stunning views from your outdoor seating area.

Our Guide will be ready by 6:00am to your hotel and transfer you to Entebbe for your AeroLink internal Scheduled flight to Kisoro airstrip in Kisoro district where Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located, You will find our second Guide ready at the AirStrip to transfer you to your Start Hotel/Lodge of Gorilla Tracking Experience, in Rushaga Section of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Road Distance is 40km long but the views are mind blowing, you will absolutely make many stopovers to appreciate nature and in about 1 hour you will arrive at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge which is 1 minute walk to Gorilla tracking registration headquarters. Have your Lunch at the Lodge and choose to relax or do an evening Batwa Experience, The Batwa are the indigenous people who originally lived in the forest with Gorillas, they share their experiences of the forest and the land plus lots of entertainments, then retire and prepare for the next Big Day.
Wakeup early in Morning and make sure you have Packed lunch, water and set to face the impenetrable Forest, Walk to the registration headquarters and have your permits verified, then Your allocated a particular Gorilla Group, each Group can only contain 8 members a day, this makes Gorilla Permits very competitive and availability is not always Guaranteed till a permit is Reserved and Booked, the numbers are limited in order to give space for the few guests to enjoy Gorillas when they reach them otherwise too many people can stress the Gorillas and unavoidable war can be the option.
Once you get your Group allocation (here we shall choose a Gorilla group we know its the best for you) otherwise not every group is interesting, some are playful and others are NOT, so leave this part to us. You will start the trek by 8:30am and be expecting to spend an entire day or half of it depending on where you will find them, have an hour with them and take enough shots for your great memories, the hiking is so stressful and sometimes people fail, in that case one pays porters who can carry you up to where gorillas are and bring you back to your Start point, You will then go back to your Lodge and Transfer to Mgahinga Park for a Second Gorilla trek its 1 hr and 20 minutes Drive to mount Gahinga Safari Lodge
Wake up early in morning and proceed to the Park’s headquarters for another Gorilla Experience, the process is similar like in Rushaga section, Here we only have 1 gorilla group and this means only 8 visitors a day have the chance to experience these primates, this group is more fun and has juveniles that will wrap up your gorilla Tracking Experience, Later after the activity come back to the lodge for a relaxing time as you prepare for the next activities in Serengeti National Park.
After your sweet breakfast, Set off at Kisoro Airstrip for your internal flight to Entebbe AirPort, the flight will be scheduled at 8:25am and arriving Entebbe at 11:25am, then onboard another Flight to Serengeti in Tanzania. Overnight at Acacia Seronera Luxury Camp for 2 nights.
The activity will begin with a morning Game Drive, Lunch and and afternoon game, Since Serengeti is so big, we shall choose areas of most interest after the Big five, giving opportunities for the Biggest Migration, Finally relax at the luxury Lodge.
After breakfast at the lodge, Enjoy the Serengeti from the sky, this maximizes the chances of seeing the migration happen, from the balloon ride, Enter your jeep for a road Drive out of the park to Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp for 2 nights. Tucked away in a wooded valley close to the Crater rim, this tented camp lies close to the main entrance to the Crater floor, allowing you to be among the first vehicles to enter the next day. The world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, the Ngorongoro Crater protects one of Africa’s richest concentrations of large animals within its steep walls and is ranked among the best places to see the all of the Big 5 – lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino – in one setting.
The crater is pretty small at 8,292 km2 (3,202 sq mi), and there aren’t a lot of places to hide, so the animals are everywhere, in plain sight. In almostly any direction you look, you’ll see zebras, wildebeests, elephants, and if you’re lucky, lions and rhinos too. We use this day to explore this area, we try to arrive back at our lodge on the crater rim by the mid afternoon. This gives you a chance to watch as golden hour and then sunset come and paint the crater various hues of green and blue. It’s a beautiful sight. Overnight at Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp
You cross the border into Kenya today, flying from the Ndutu airstrip by 9:15 to Tarime, then another to keekorok Masai Mara, finally checking in at Keekorok Lodge for two nights. If you have not seen much of the Wildebeest Migration up to now, it will be because the herds are here. Set on a private stretch of the Mara River, the river crossings – when the migrating herds brave the snapping jaws of enormous Nile crocodiles as they make their way from one side to the other.
This day will be spent on game drives in the Masai Mara Game Reserve.  Together with your guide you can search for the Big Five. You are in no rush, so you have enough time to enjoy all the wonderful moments which can make your safari a magical experience. The Mara is home to many other interesting animals too, such as Thomson’s and Grant's gazelles, elands and Coke's hartebeests. Not often seen outside Kenya are the Masai giraffe, roan antelope and the nocturnal bat-eared fox. The reserve also has over 470 bird species including about 60 raptor species.
On this day, choose to take on a hot air balloon as well or another game to experience more of the mara, night game drive to experience predator behaviors at night in search for food, relax more at the camp as you appreciate nature.
The Amboseli national park captivates international attention with its free-roaming giant elephants along with lions, buffaloes and leopards. The Observation hill in Amboseli safari infuses a thrilling spirit of holiday in visitors with its grand view of elephants, hippos, buffaloes and marvelous Egyptian pelicans. The sumptuous snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli national park might just take your breath away for a moment.
Early morning game drive return back to camp for breakfast . after breakfast Full day spend in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro. Later return to your camp for dinner and overnight at Kobo Safari Camp
After breakfast, choose to visit local villages or completely relax at your camp since you fly back home later tonight, afternoon you are transferred back to the local airstrip for a scheduled flight to Wilson Airport in Nairobi where you will be met and transferred to your pre-arranged city for dinner and then Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
This will be the end of your 14 day African Adventure with Inspire African Safaris.
